GET TO KNOW THESE TEN WASHINGTON WINERIES:

1. KIONA VINEYARD & WINERY

"Our family grows high-end wine grapes for more than 60 of the best in #WAwine at our Red Mountain Estate. We love this industry and the people in it, and we’re thrilled that so many have trusted us with their farming for the last forty years. Here’s to the next forty!" Website | @kionawine

2. DUNHAM CELLARS

"The Walla Walla lifestyle is about relaxation and a slower pace of life. People come here to escape; to relax in the vineyards, drink wine and enjoy food crafted by world-class chefs. It's very much about enjoying the best that the world has to offer at a leisurely pace… And we think Dunham is just a part of that equation. After 25 years we just want to keep doing what we are doing, have fun doing it, and enjoy life." Website | @dunhamcellars

COTÉ BONNEVILLE

"Côte Bonneville is unique because we craft world class wines from our spectacular, distinctive DuBrul Vineyard.  Where else in the world can you grow this diversity of grapes, from Riesling to Cabernet, and have them all be amazing? Our mostly female team makes wines of balance and finesse that stand the test of time. We were planning to showcase this range at #TasteWA with our fresh, new Cab Franc Rosé poured beside our flagship Côte Bonneville Bordeaux blend from 2012. We’re sorry to miss it!" TWO MOUNTAIN WINERY
Yakima Valley

"Fourth generation Yakima Valley farmers making 100% estate wines. 'Our Place' has been an important part of our family and the goal our winemaking is to share 'our place' one bottle at a time." Website | @twomountainwinery

HEDGES FAMILY ESTATE
Red Mountain

"We are naturalists. We don’t try to control nature. We work with nature instead of against it. We believe in wine that is representative of time and place. That makes our wine authentic, which is more powerful than saying good or bad." Website | @hedgeswine

DRUM ROLL WINE
Website

"We chose the name Drum Roll Wine because of wine’s capacity to surprise. We make wine to look forward to and we get the whole family involved (whether the kids like it or not). Plus, we’re the only winery we know of with it’s own music video!" Website | @drumrollwine

UPCHURCH VINEYARDS
Red Mountain

"In Red Mountain, we have a special growing environment unlike any other on the planet. Because of the Missoula floods, we have mineral rich soils in a high planes desert allowing us to grow wine grapes. Being a desert we experience a 60-degree diurnal shift during peak growing season. The hot days and cold nights allow the fruit to ripen while still retaining acidity. Upchurch Vineyard is sustainably farmed and utilizes double guyots trellis systems that produce lower yields and higher concentrated fruit. Chris Upchurch's 30+ years of experience has allowed him to make choices like these in the vineyard and use a minimalistic approach in the cellar. Our world class wines have received 95+ point scores from Wine Advocate and Robert Parker since our inaugural vintage in 2010." Website | @upchurchvineyard

SIGILLO CELLARS
Snoqualmie & Chelan

"After years of winemaking for friends and family, Mike and Ryan Seal, along with childhood friend Scott Hussey, founded Sigillo Cellars in 2010. With the belief that Washington wine should be experienced, not just tasted, we have put together a portfolio of Bordeaux and Rhône varietals, plus other favorites available, to be shared in either of our beautiful historic tasting rooms in Snoqualmie, WA and Chelan, WA. Don't just taste wine, Experience it." LUKE Columbia Valley Wines
Wahluke Slope

"Just east of Seattle in the Columbia Valley sits the Wahluke Slope AVA, home of LUKE Columbia Valley and some of the most exciting wines coming out of Washington State. We believe the hallmark of Washington wines is a generosity of fruit, an upfront opulent character that creates balanced wines with big bold flavors. This is the brand promise of LUKE." CAIRDEAS WINERY
Lake Chelan, WA

"Our focus is on Rhône style wines crafted in Lake Chelan, WA. We pull our inspiration from the Rhône Valley of France and make wine in that style using Washington fruit. Think a Chateauneuf-du-Pape style blend with all five varietals sourced from Boushey Vineyard, giving that wine a unique sense of place; Washington state's first Picardan, estate-grown, that calls for pairing with the best of Pacific Northwest seafood; or a Lawrence Vineyard Syrah aged in egg-shaped concrete vessels highlighting the purity of the fruit."
